1. How to Apply

(1) Applying period: August 3 (Weds) – August 31, 2022 (Weds)

(2) Eligibility/Qualifications: Anyone can apply regardless of education, age or experience.

2. Contest Theme: ＂Any songs to create a better future＂

(1) A society where nobody is discriminated by gender, age, race, position, etc. and can aspire for their dreams.

(2) A world where the socially weak (elderly, children, women, disabled, etc.) are respected.

(3) Earth where nature and the diverse creatures such as people and animals coexist peacefully.

3. What to Submit: A new full demo with songwriting (melody, lyrics), track (arrangement), and the guide vocal. (file format: MP3).

4. Award and Prize: Winner of one individual or team, cash prize of 5 million KRW won (tax included).

5. Benefits: Your song sung by JYP artists.

6. Announcement of Result: September 30, 2022 (Fri)

1. How can I apply?

2. Can I submit only an instrumental demo?

The demo must be a full demo including the songwriting (melody, lyrics) and track (arrangement) with a guide vocal, in MP3 format.

 

3. Can I submit a song that has already been released, but with new lyrics?

All submitted demos must be new, original demos written by the applicant that have  never been released.

(If the demo is found to be plagiarized or if it is not an original one, the award will be canceled and the prize money will be returned.)

 

4. Can I apply as a team?

You may apply as a team. However, be sure to clearly state the credits for each part (lyrics, composition, arrangement) on the application. The prize money will be awarded as a team.

 

5. Do you have plans to hold JYP Publishing songwriter audition?

We are planning it in the fourth quarter of 2022, and the details will be announced on our audition page.
